Community Update
We would like to address recent rumors and misinformation that have been circulating within our community regarding the possibility of our school closing or merging with a neighboring school district.
Please be assured that our school has no intention of closing or merging with any other district. We remain fully committed to continuing our mission of providing the high-quality education our students and families have received for more than 100 years.
Like many small and rural school districts, we have faced financial challenges. These have included applying for small school adjustment funding, navigating a high financial status designation, and experiencing tax increases. While we understand these topics can raise concerns, none of these factors indicate that our school is closing or merging. Rather, they reflect the ongoing efforts and hard work being done to ensure the long-term stability of our school and to continue offering excellent educational opportunities to our students.
